Kid’s Class
The Kids CrossFit Class at Branford CrossFit is designed to meet the unique needs of young athletes through safe, fun, and engaging workouts. Each class includes a warm-up, skill practice, and workouts that focus on functional movements, gymnastics basics, running, jump rope, and more. In our positive group environment, kids build strength, coordination, and confidence while developing a lifelong love for fitness. This is by far the most fun class we offer — and our coaches and kids absolutely love it!

 

BC Sport - Athletic Development for Middle and High School Athletes

BC Sport at Branford CrossFit is a premier sports performance program for the next generation of athletes — designed for students in grades 5–12, both in-season and off-season. Our program helps athletes perform at their best on the field, court, ice, or diamond through structured, high-intensity, and coach-led training sessions.

Our goal is to create strong, fast, and well-rounded athletes by developing all 10 components of fitness: strength, power, agility, speed, balance, flexibility, coordination, stamina, accuracy, and cardiovascular endurance. Each session blends these fundamentals into movements that build performance and reduce injury risk.

Built in collaboration with local coaches, BC Sport focuses on producing athletes who are coachable, explosive, confident, and mentally tough. Under the guidance of our experienced coaches — all former competitive athletes — each 60-minute session challenges athletes to train smarter, move better, and compete harder.

Nation Plan (Competitors Programming)

Inside of our normal classes we offer programming and extra work for our athletes. This is for the Competitive Athlete, those looking to get there, or those interested in a little extra work on top of the class. At Nation Athletics we believe in the CLASS model. The Nation plan allows you to take the class with additional programming on top of the class. MORE is not always better. The Nation Plan possibly allows for higher skill movements within the class, increased loads and distances. On top of this you will get 2-4 days of extra conditioning, weightlifting or gymnastics. All of this extra work is based off of the classes intensity and volume. Individual Sessions with Coach Craig

Nation Plan Plus+

This program is the Nation Plan, but, Coach Craig will individualized the plan based off your specific goals, strengths and weaknesses. Here you will get a concrete individualized plan made specifically to you. This STILL enables you to take the class and is designed for that!

Barbell Club

This club will provide and addition to, or alternative to the CrossFit or Conditioning classes that are currently offered.

 The purpose of the club is to develop athletes through the incorporation of the Olympic lifts and structured resistance training. For those interested the club will serve as a platform to compete in the sport of weightlifting and a chance to compete locally, regionally, and nationally. No experience is necessary with the Olympic lifts and all ages are welcome.

 Typically sessions will last 60+ minutes consisting of a warm up, technical instruction on the Olympic lifts followed by targeted strength work to help you further develop your strengths and bring up your weaknesses. Individual assistance exercises will be prescribed to help fully develop athleticism and prevent injuries. A full plan will be written by Coach Chris Taber for all athletes to follow on a weekly basis. SCHEDULE ONE ON ONE SESSIONS WITH COACH T

Barbell programming is built for three sessions per week. We host classes at Branford CrossFit on Thursday evenings at 6PM and Saturday morning at 9AM. The third day can be done at a time and location of your choosing (including Branford CrossFit). But, in order to complete the Nation Barbell Program on your own you will need to be approved by a coach first.

Birthday Parties

Host an unforgettable kids’ birthday party at Branford CrossFit! Our 9,000-square-foot facility transforms into a high-energy playground where kids can run, jump, and have a blast while learning fun fitness skills. Our experienced coaches lead engaging games, relay races, dodgeball, and other exciting activities that keep everyone moving and smiling.

Branford CrossFit has been developing athlete training programs for all sports since its inception — and long before that through years of experience in athletic performance and coaching. Our certified coaches, all former athletes, understand what it takes to compete and succeed.

Teams that train at BCF gain exclusive access to their own training time in our facility, where athletes work under close guidance to improve fundamentals, power, speed, teamwork, and leadership. Each program is built to elevate performance, build camaraderie, and prepare every athlete to excel in their sport — both physically and mentally.
